Take the stress out of writing.
Online or In Person
Meet Murray and MaryJoy
Murray Mclaughlan graduated from Simon Fraser University with a degree in Economics. His secondary focus was Political Science. Murray was stuck with B or B plus grades until he used a technique shown to him called mapping. Mapping is one part of The Essay Doctor method. After using this technique, not only did his grades increase but it became enjoyable to write.
Murray was a research assistant for three professors at Simon Fraser University. He also has extensive business writing experience. Murray’s hope is that his enjoyment of the writing process will help students to break out of their writing blocks and achieve successful grades.
MaryJoy McLaughlan holds a BA from Queens University, with majors in Geography and Sociology. A Teaching Assistant in her last year, she graduated at age 20.
Attaining an advanced certification in teaching English, Teflexpress.co.UK. MaryJoy taught for more than 20 years. During this time she tutored undergraduates with essay writing and mentored graduates with applications to MBA, medical school and more.
As a Job Description Writer, Federal Government of Canada, MaryJoy collaborated with Directors, interviewed then wrote on behalf of departmental employees.
MaryJoy was fortunate to observe the mapping technique firsthand. Co-writer of “Tomorrow’s Classroom Today”, Linda Wingren, winner of national award based on this work, taught her students to engage fully in the writing process while becoming competent writers. Their enthusiasm was palpable.
